Using only the words and quotes from the research in black text on white background, each typeface was used to illustrate the profile of John Wayne for the book titled “Legend.”

A combination of visuals and the perfect typefaces gives Azteca Centro an upscale feel. The use of adobe background and rustic colors enhances the authentic Mexican atmosphere of the southwest's finest Mexican Restaurant.

American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA)
The theme is centered around the tools of the trade. All of the photography is produced in-house. The cover design depicts a typical folder of meeting notes from several client designer meetings.

Bright House Echo’s unique sustainable difference is the use of multiple internet access points ensuring no “Wi-Fi dead zones” in the customer’s network.
The tag line “…has you covered” is a simple, memorable and effective message to communicate to current and new customers how Echo’s technology provides continuous network coverage with no Wi-Fi dead zones.

Coal Black Letter
Developed from the 14 basic shapes, Coal Black Letter Typeface is born from etchings made on white paper with a compressed charcoal stick. Each of the basic shapes were manipulated in various ways, but never distorted, to form the rough but elegant typeface.

American Action Forum
The final identity is derived from concepts explored in the symbolic and typographic designs. The hand rendered lettering is modern and memorable. Incorporation of the arrow pointing to the right of center reinforces the conservative and the forward thinking perspective of AAF. Use of the figure and ground imagery introduces a thought-provoking element to the design.

Kevin Smith Graphic Design
I purchased my first camera – a Kodak 110 mm instamatic – at the age of nine. This was the beginning of a passion which I inherited from my grandfather. I saved money for months to by the camera, two rolls of film (one color and one black and white) with enough left over to pay for developing. I remember running home from school every day to check the mail to see if the pictures I had taken had arrived.
Fast forward to today, I feel the same excitement now as I did back then. No matter the subject, location or purpose, capturing the perfect image is still my passion.
